Introduction
Young adults face a number of challenges making career related
decisions.
Education program decisions, job placements and future career planning are challenging and often at times stressful.  Our workshops aim to facilitate the important steps of career research, self-discovery and career planning. What makes us unique is our facilitated conversations between young adults and their parents, as well as, our structured approach to help young adults focus on mapping out their futures.

Audience:
Grade 11 & 12s, first year college students and their parents/guardians

Schedule

Day 1: Morning Session
Introduction and Family Discussion
Participants: Students and Parents/Guardians
Interactive career discussions intended to create open lines of
communication between parents and young adults.

Day 2: Full Day Session
Career Planning Student Workshop
Participants: Students Only
A combination of individual exercises and group discussions with a focus on self assessment, reflection and exploration of future careers. Students will leave with  a better understanding of the cost of living, career options and a rough plan for the future.
